Annie’s Bridal Session

A long overdue post of Annie’s beautiful bridal photos is finally here! Bridal photos are becoming a more and more rare request for me. I get MANY if not most clients who are interested in doing an engagement session with me, but fewer and fewer requests for bridal. I’m not sure why that is, but it is a little depressing. I really enjoy photographing brides in their gown as it gives me a peek into their excitement, allows them to get all dolled up, and produces a level of excitement for her in anticipation of the big day. It’s really quite sweet.

Maybe brides are worried about getting their dress dirty, or the costs of the additional session costs. Whatever it may be, it makes me sad. So whenever I get a bride who is interested in one, I really enjoy it! Annie’s was no different.

Here are some of her, all beautiful in her stunning dress…

I recently moved into a new studio space but one thing I really LOVED about it was this particular room. The building was 138 years old and you could tell as everywhere you looked produced an amazing image. I’m going to miss that place.

I loved the gorgeous window light the highlighted her from both sides.

We shot some of the images outdoors in our rear stairwell and out front before calling it a wrap.
